There are so many things that make our lives so much heavier and more stressful and more painful than life ever has to be…than life was ever MEANT to be. We hold on to things that were never meant to be held on to.
Think of the things you may be holding onto that are keeping you from moving forward. Things like grudges, or outdated goals or dreams. Let go of hurt that comes from things not turning out the way you may have wished they would turn out. Let go of what you might expect to happen that you have no control over. Let go of fantasies you may have that are keeping you from being happy with how your life is now. Let go of anything that doesn’t feel peaceful. Let go of what is not yours to carry.
It is also so important to give life a chance to work itself out….because often we can push and push and push for things to turn out the way WE want them to turn out, when life is going to happen exactly the way it is meant to happen. This is when we let it be.
Sometimes we even have to let things fall that we wanted to stay put. We have to let things die that we wanted to stay alive. When we let life be, and find joy in all of it….our suffering will decrease and our joy will increase. Time to let it go.
