About this Course
Art Whispering Workshop will take you on an 8-week art-healing journey... through art and journaling you’re going to learn how to listen and decode your Body Whispers... Body Whispers are those subtle messages our body sends us to warn us that something needs to change in our life...
It all starts as subtle whispers... or, may be some mild symptoms like headache, heartburn, insomnia or racing heart beats... But I ignore the whispers... I pop a pill when I get a headache or an antacid when my stomach objects... or, may be I go watch a movie to distract my thoughts or place my boredom in a double chocolate cheese cake only to hate myself even more when I step on the bathroom scale at the end of the day...
All I am doing is neglecting my body warnings, or even worse, I suppress those warnings with quick fixes so that the whispers just shut up and stop bothering me... But, the whispers won’t go away, they will keep getting louder and louder until they turn into shouts and screams now requiring medical intervention and I end up with an official diagnosis... a ‘label’ that needs a prescribed medication...
But, the medicine won’t solve my problem with my spouse... it won’t get my son to study and stop wasting his life... it won’t heal my broken heart... pay my bills... fix my relationships... calm my anger or ease my fears...
All what it does is suppress the sound of the whispers... it makes them stop nagging so that I can step back on my hamster wheel and keep spinning...
Through simple visualization, art journaling and prompts, you will delve deeper into your Body Whispers and learn to listen and decode their meanings... You’ll also learn to embrace the screams and shouts and together we’ll find some answers and devise some plans...

About the instructor
I am primarily a wife and a mother of two lovely (well, most of the time) teenagers.
Professionally, I hold a master degree in Pharmaceutics and a PhD in Natural Health.
I used to teach at the faculty of pharmacy. A leave I took after the birth of my first child gave me time to study nutrition, then natural health & spirituality.
After years of being blindfolded to follow the path that everybody thought was 'the right thing for me', I finally found my true Path, my true passion and heart desire.
I published four books. My books have been translated into more than ten languages and read and taught by thousands around the globe. I am a faculty member at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto and I practice natural health private consultation at Alexandria Medical Clinic in Mississauga.
My mission is to inspire women to reclaim their health, happiness and success, and to live with passion and purpose by teaching them to listen to their ‘Body Whispers’…
Body Whispers are those subtle messages our body sends us to warn us that something needs to change in our life... something is not quite working in our home, our relationships, or our career… If we ignore those whispers, they get louder and louder turning into shouts and screams recognized by conventional medicine and now needing medical intervention and prescription medications.
My passion is helping women listen to those whispers, decode their meanings and give their body, heart and soul what they need in order to heal.
