About this Course
Tradition is a pretty heavy word. It can be something sacred or simply something fun. The holidays are filled with them! I think its pretty comforting to see holiday decorations that we bring out year after year. They sit in their boxes for 11 months out of every year, until its time to bring them out again. They hold memories, comfort, and tradition. We all are living in such a fast paced world, that its important to slow down and enjoy lifes moments that reflect on these good for the soul feelings.
In this class we will be making a Halloween Portrait that you can display year after year, perhaps it will become a family tradition! We will paint our background first, using acrylic paints. Then we will begin creating our subjects, first sketching in pencil, then transferring to our beautiful background piece. We will use black markers and shading to create our masterpiece! Its going to be fun and easier than you may think 🙂
So lets get started and make some traditional holiday decorations that we can cherish and hand down to our grandkids and great grandkids, and so on... We can start with Halloween and go on from there! Hope you'll join me in starting our own traditions! Love, Kelly
