About this Course
One of a series of podcasts by Orly Avineri about the good things that come to those who practice visual journaling, about the better things that come to those who allow themselves to become transparent, and the best things that come to those who never go back.
About the instructor
As a young adult I studied Fine Arts in an artists’ village in my native country Israel, and later Graphic Design at the University of Arts in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Now living in Southern California, I take in all the magnificence of the landscapes that shaped me and of the visual languages I have acquired along the way.
I am the author and the independent publisher of three books exploring the multiple meanings of visual journaling as understood through my intimate pages. I am also the starter of the lively FB group A Stand For Art Journaling, offering a gathering place for many impassioned individuals to experience this unique art form and an honest spirit of collaboration. In the end, for me, it’s all about making sense of my personal world and in the same time making connections to vaster worlds residing outside of me, all through the creative process.
