About this Course
Kathy shares with us a tradition she started when her kids were little. On camping trips, she and her family would make fun little play bow-and-arrows out of willow branches and twine.
Today, you get to sit in while she shares this project with her grandchildren! This would be a great one to watch and try out with any young kids in your life.
Come see how fun this is!
About the instructor
I love cooking but I'm not crazy about grocery shopping or doing dishes (sigh). I've live in Idaho less than 5 miles from where I was born, I've been married for 34 years, I am mother to 8 and Nana to 14. And every day I have the fun job of managing the business side of Brave Girls Club. That's me!
You will need:
- A straight green willow-type branch, about 24-30" long for each bow
- A straight thin branch about 12-18" long for each arrow
- A pocket knife
- Yarn or string, beads, etc. and glue (OPTIONAL)
