I am a mixed-media artist and teacher. I love everything about art: creating it, thinking about it, looking at it, and teaching it. I teach both in-person and online workshops. I have been scrapbooking since 1995, stamping since 1996, and art journaling since 2004. I have kept a personal journal since I was nine years old. I believe in writing yourself down, expressing yourself, and making your mark on the world.
I have made a whole career on three words: oops, oh well! I believe art should be fun and expressive. I don't worry about making good art, I just worry about making. If you make a lot, the good comes.
As a Ranger Signature Designer, I design a line of mixed-media art supplies that includes acrylic paints, mediums, brushes, rubber stamps, stencils, and more. Look for the Dina Wakley Media Line by Ranger at a store near you.
My two books Art Journal Freedom and Art Journal Courage are available now. Also look for my DVDs (or digital downloads): Color Courage, Stencils and Masks, Mark Making, Art Journaling Live I, and Art Journaling Live II.
I post regularly on social media. And check my blog for regularly for announcements and updates.
You'll find my Art Journaling 101 course here for the launch of Brave Girl University, and over the month of September, three more of my courses will be added: Art Journaling 102, Masterful Art Journaling (Art Journaling 201), and Intuitive Painted Layers.
