I have had a passion for health and fitness nearly my whole life, varying from youth to high school sports, prenatal fitness and recovery, wake surfing, snow skiing, adult powderpuff football and tennis, to raising five adventure seeking children and not to mention keeping up with a very active firefighter husband.
My lifelong dream of becoming a personal trainer was solidified in 2011 when I became certified. Since then I have been coaching and training all types of clients out of my garage and at a prestigious gym as well as online. I am passionate about continuing to learn and gain new knowledge to pass on to my clients.
I believe in balance and moderation and cringe when I see people going to extremes to attain their goals. I also practice what I preach when it comes to living a fit and healthy lifestyle. It doesn't mean it has come easy for me. I have struggled with postpartum depression, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, unbalanced hormones and fat that wouldn't budge. I feel like that has made me an even better trainer and coach. I can empathize and help my clients in any walk of life.
I aspire every day to help people attain their goals of becoming healthier, stronger, fitter, more capable and pain free through correct human movement and proper nutrition in a healthy and balanced way. My motto is “Health is freedom”, and I truly believe that.
