From the time I was a small child growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I have made things with whatever I had on hand. Nature, color and anything tactile has always been my inspiration. This is reflected in my art quilts, paper art, and mixed media canvases.
Giving others the tools and confidence to create their own art is one of the things I love about teaching. Over the years I have taught from one-on-one design mentoring to trade show classrooms with classes ranging from greeting cards to art quilt embellishment.
My work has been featured in many books and magazines, art galleries and also included design work for other stamp and ink manufacturers. Designing and manufacturing my own line of rubber stamps and also owning a retail paper and rubber stamp art store helped push my creative limits. This highlighted my natural ability to inspire others and gave me an outlet for the work I love to do.
