Is it possible to be contentedly old-fashioned, craving roots and depth, while also being an optimistic, future-minded, goal-getter? Can a deep thinking big question asker also be someone who has a deliciously wicked penchant for jumping out from around a corner to scare a friend, and share the howl of laughter? Is it possible to love to teach as much as one has an unquenchable thirst for learning? Heck yes! And I’m the proof.
I thrive on belly laughter, opening to truth, experimenting in receptivity, and making art that embodies all of that. I bring all that I am - homesteader, food preserver, speaker, writer, backpacker, wife & mom, loyal friend, personal development devotee, and master mess-maker - to the classrooms where I teach, both brick + mortar and virtual. I love taking the lead just long enough to give you what you need to take off and run on your own...because you totally have what it takes. I’ll be right there by your side, cheering you on, talking you up and celebrating you glorious expansion. We're in this together.
I spend much of my time elbow-deep in plaster, paint, metal, and wood, creating the images in my head that crave to be born. With plaster on my hands and a paint-covered apron on, I write all about my life and my messy art making on my blog. On my less-messy days, I stand in front of audiences creating art with my words, to bring each listener into a place of solid, fiery confidence in their own creative adventures.
